Poettker hosted the safety merit badge clinic for the Boy Scouts of America, Greater St. Louis Area Council. Twenty-five Boy Scouts plus troop leaders and family members participated in an interactive discussion and guided project tour illustrating how to apply safety techniques used on construction sites to home and community settings.

Each year, Poettker employees and family members participate in Community Link’s Buddy Walk. This annual event raises awareness and funds for individuals diagnosed with Down syndrome.

Additionally, employees donate toys at the annual Christmas party to be distributed to local families in need through Community Link’s First Step Program.
